If Assembly alone is this good I am hyped for Operations. I do have some clarifying questions about what's here though.

1) What happens when an Affect is triggered? Because my understanding of the text as written is you move the relevant checkmark to the space below the trigger. However, the default Affects are very easy to trigger and are on the emotional extremes, and hitting those extremes results in a Stack Overflow which blacks out the current Node. Many Event results would trigger a Stack Overflow if my reading is correct—I think all or most of my first half dozen Events so far should have each blacked out a Node—is this intended behaviour or am I misreading? I have been ignoring the default Affects because they feel broken, but maybe I'm hampering myself.

2) Repairing skin damage is stated to be easy in the Assembly instructions. Is it possible to do so prior to self-actualisation, or are we meant to semi-permanently walk the Earth as horror-shambles as soon as we start taking damage, even if our owners are rich? I'm curious for roleplay purposes. Detroit Become Human painted that picture perfectly.

I have other questions but assume they'll be answered in Operations.

1. Affects cannot be triggered during the Assembly phase. that's my bad and i'll clarify that!

2. you can get skin damage repaired whenever you roll an 11 on most life paths

I found this via a friend who is very robot gender, and when it found out I was too it shared this with me, which like.. fuck yeah. Anyone else read Kimmy by Alyson Greaves and feel in a WAY about it? This fulfills something.

I found this game through a Substack. People will find you even if your content is being shadowbanned! I hope you make it through this. ♥ Was wondering whether or not I should get this game but because of what's happened, I figured I should.

Snow's Substack. Most of the TTRPG reviews on there aren't "adult" in nature so it won't cover all creators but there will be more out there, I'm sure! I mean, if you play a lot of these types of games, you could create your own and connect with other people to find more and help spread the word like that. I wouldn't be the right person for the job, myself, because this isn't my usual scene. But at times like this, it might  be one of the only ways to kind of fight back.
